So, I am clearly waaaaaaay behind on these posts! I guess now I'll have to write about 100 in one day!
OK, I won't, but I will start with some fun things the kids and I have been up to in the last couple of months!
During Fall, I had Super Boy rake some leaves into Even and Odd piles. He had so much fun because he actually got to rake leaves indoors (which we are now VERY use to doing outside). He thought it was funny to do it inside! Plus, it also gave him a great way to review odd and even numbers.
I threw leaves all over the floor and he had to rake them into piles and then divide them into odd and even numbers. Clear enough right?
It's a fun way to keep the fall theme and learn something too. Plus you can't go wrong with being dressed up like a firefighter!
Roll A Die To Make A Pumpkin Face
You really can't say fall and not think about Pumpkins. So to continue the fall theme, I found this really adorable game on Pinterest that the kids and I just LOVE! Pumpkin Jumble Game
The object of the game is to finish your pumpkins face before your opponents. It's fun competition!
You roll the die and then you get to put a piece of your pumpkin on that matches the number you rolled. Roll a one, get an eye. Pretty easy right? I can't tell you how many times we played this! Plus it's also a great way to keep one child busy while you're going over something with the other child.
